However, it is also possible to do different Levels (and even Modules) in different years. We also offer a possibility to study Level 1 in an Intensive training format in January each year for people who have to travel a long distance to the UK and would like to shorten the number of trips. After successfully passing the exam you receive a Diploma in Esogetic Colorpuncture from the International Mandel Institute which will allow you to practice in any country.
Do I need to have some understanding of Acupuncture, Acupressure, Colour therapy and/or Light therapy before joining the Colourpuncture course?
It is not compulsory for you to have any background in Acupuncture, Acupressure, Colour or Light therapies, but it would be beneficial for you to have some very basic understanding of the subjects. We will be providing some free background introductory information here, on this site, and also on www.learnesogeticolourpuncture.com. There are also some simple and good books on Acupuncture featured on this site which you might consider investing in when you are already taking the Colourpuncture course. You will learn during the course the location of the Acupuncture points which we use in Colourpuncture, but many of our students have found it helpful to have a good reference book to hand.
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment, but each module will contain a range of informal assessments that will demonstrate you have met the learning outcomes and the have skills and abilities required by the profession.
Will there be any homework?
There is no compulsory homework; however, to benefit fully from your learning of Colourpuncture it is advisable to:
1. Study your Colourpuncture manual in depth between the Modules and note any questions you might have
2. Practice on yourself some recommended Colourpuncture treatments or arrange an exchange with other students
3. Experience some Esogetic Dream therapy and/or Esogetic Crystal therapy to deepen your own processing of light treatments and to learn more about these therapies – you’ll likely recommend them to your future clients for the very same reasons. Even though any supporting therapies are not compulsory, they do offer numerous additional health benefits and are very easy to self-administer.
How do I apply?
Please fill out an Application form and make a payment.
What equipment will I need?
We will provide all Colourpuncture-related equipment that you will need to use during the course, such as Colorpuncture basic light set with spectral colours, Soul-Spirit colours, Grey colours, crystal puncture tattoos and Esogetic oil. However, many students prefer to have their own basic Colorpuncture light set with them for the course, and you can order yours before the start. It is also a good idea for post-course self-treatments and exchanges. We keep some stock of oil and tattoos, however if you want to have it for certain please order it together with your set. For extensive dream work you might consider ordering an (extra) flat-focused light set or a Combi set with 2 light pens both for point and for surface light treatment. All the clinical equipment we will be using during Colorpuncture training courses is manufactured by our partners, Esogetic GmbH, and is safe to use according to CE regulations. Everything else you might need during your course will also be provided but you might wish to take the following: cosmetic (cohl) pencils in 2 different colours, felt tips in spectral, soul-spirit and grey colours, cotton pads, make-up remover and a light personal blanket (purely for extra comfort!). Please bring your stuff in a soft bag.
Where will the course be held?
Esogetic Colourpuncture training course and our related training courses are currently held in Stockport, Cheshire. The courses are not residential. Light refreshments are included in the price of your Colourpuncture and other courses. There is a variety of pubs and cafes nearby suitable for your lunch arrangements.
Greater Manchester is an exciting place to come for your course. We are close to both the vibrant city of Manchester and beautiful Cheshire countryside. Please contact us if you require detailed information on how to get to the course venue, where to stay, places to eat and what to do in Manchester and Cheshire while you’re on the course.
Whom am I likely to meet on this Colourpuncture training course?
Some of our Colourpuncture students are already-established therapists in the Natural Health industry who feel the need for a modern addition to their practice which would generally enhance their profile and help confidently tackle any therapy resistance issues. Others are open-minded people without any previous background in Natural Health therapies who have heard of Colourpuncture or who are generally interested in light, colours, Acupuncture without needles, crystals and natural health. Yet more of our students are people who originally came as clients to our Colourpuncture clinic and for whom light and colours have created such a profound positive change, a turning point in their life and health, that they now want to give back to the community, sharing the power of light and helping others in times of change. Our growing Colourpuncture community is a friendly and warm group of like-minded people.
I’m a therapist already. How can I best combine my existing therapy with Esogetic Colourpuncture from the very start?
Please keep visiting http://learnesogeticolourpuncture.com/why-colour-puncture/colourpuncture-for-therapists/ as we will keep building this site, specially designed to help people to understand the benefits of learning Colourpuncture. As we issue a Certificate of Attendance after each Colourpuncture Module, you can immediately put your knowledge into practice.
I’m a beginner on a budget. Will it be necessary for me to invest into a treatment table from the very beginning of my course?
No. From our own experience and that of our students we know that you can start practicing many Colourpuncture treatments using a humble chair or a recliner. We do not recommend using an ordinary bed for treatments unless your client has mobility issues. In fact, many Colourpuncture treatments are still best done with a client sitting on a chair – even if you already have a treatment table.
I prefer to invest into my own Colourpuncture equipment that I need for the course. What exactly I would need and how can I get it?
For the Professional Colourpuncture Training Course you might want to invest in a basic Colourpuncture light set first; that will give you an opportunity to practice plenty of Colourpuncture in spectral colours which is a very good start. If you would like to practice and experience even more, you might want to consider investing in a set of soul-spirit colours or/and grey colours as you will start learning Colourpuncture with soul-spirit colours and Colourpuncture with grey colours from the Module 1 onwards. Other options include investing into Esogetic oil for Esogetic dream therapy (you will start learning it on Module 1) and crystal tatoos for Crystalpuncture (you will get an introduction to Crystalpuncture on Module 2). You can order your equipment online at any time by following the links. Please note that all the equipment is imported from Germany and so prices may vary depending on current Euro exchange rates.
If you’re a therapist, you’ll likely already have professional insurance, so there may be no need to buy that for the duration of the course.
I’d like to start my own Colourpuncture business. What are the approximate running costs of a Colourpuncture light therapy clinic?
The running costs of a Colourpuncture clinic are very low. You will need spare light bulbs (£1/each) from 2 to 20 a year, depending on frequency of use and 1 or 2 cosmetic pencils if you prefer to mark the points (about £2 to £4); also professional insurance (starting from £55/year). If you would like to use crystal tatoos or Esogetic oil as additional therapeutic measures you will need to include their costs. You will be offered a page on our Colourpuncture Institute website with your full name, phone numbers, qualifications and practice details. Please contact us directly if you are interested in other marketing options with us.
I have a question that’s not in this FAQ!
